Personnel- Digital Evidence
Biography: Dr. Philip Craiger is the Assistant Director of Digital Evidence at the National Center for Forensic Science, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Technology, University of Central Florida. In both capacities he conducts applied research and teaches university courses in computer and network forensics, personal electronic device forensics, and computer security. Dr. Craiger holds several professional certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), SANS GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, and EnCase Certified Examiner. He is a member of the Internatonal Association of Information Processing Working Group 11.9, Digital Forensics, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and Association for Computing Machinery.
Biography: Mark Pollitt served over thirty years in the U. S. government, over ten years as a military officer in the Marine Corps and Coast Guard and then another twenty as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition to conducting criminal and national security investigations for over 13 years, he supervised online investigations, was the Chief of the FBI’s computer forensic unit (CART) and was the Director of the Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory Program. After retirement, he founded his own consulting firm and began teaching as adjunct faculty at a number of institutions including: Johns Hopkins, Syracuse, Polytechnic and Norwich Universities. He joined UCF as a full-time faculty member in 2006. Mr. Pollitt is a graduate of Cornell University, Syracuse University, the Information Resources Management College, National Defense University and has done post-graduate work in forensic science at George Washington University. |
